This module carries what a small organisation really has to keep about its people: who works here, on what terms, on what, and when.

The employment record

It is the employee role , distinct from identity and from the sign-in account. The person is in the party directory; their account is in the authentication module; their employment record is here — with a start date, a job title, a contract.

The hours

Time logging is made to be filled in thirty seconds a day, not caught up on the last Friday of the month.

• Booking to project and task when the Projects module is on.
• Summaries by person, by period, by project.
• What is logged on a project becomes what is left to invoice.

Leave

Request, approval, balance. Approved absences appear in the team calendar — the only way nobody schedules a meeting with somebody who is away.

The calendar

A shareable team calendar, which also receives scheduled CRM activities . The customer meeting a salesperson booked does not have to be copied elsewhere to be visible.

What this module is not

It is not a payroll engine. It holds what feeds a payroll — hours, absences, contracts — and stops where the payroll office's work begins.
